Hi guys. Today I am telling you about a tivaevae. Well basically me and my class had to make a paper tivaevae, tivaevaes come from the cook islands and as you all know that it is Niue and Cook islands language week, that is why my class is doing this. A tivaevae is mostly used for bedspreads and cushion covers. Tivaevaes are really pretty. I made a paper tivaevae at home today. Here is a picture of it.
Isn't it really beautiful? If you like it then tell me in the comments.
If you want to make your own paper tivaevae, then here is a video link that might help you.

I hope you like my paper tivaevae and I hope you have a great day.
Well guys, bye and see you in my next blog.
Hi Prisha, I love your tivaevae. I like your choice of the combination of colours. I notice you used a capital letter for Niue, but forgot to use capitals for Cook Islands. Can you check your punctuation when you post? Thanks for adding the link. It gives everyone an opportunity to make one!
ReplyDeleteWell done Prisha - great colour choices for your tivaevae - LOVE it. I also think it's really clever that you included a video link in your blog to help the reader find out more information. In blog land we talk about the content being multimodal so adding text, pictures, video helps with reader engagement. Very sophisticated to see you using all three!
ReplyDeleteI will loop back to your blog again next week and see what you have been up to.
Well done, enjoy the long weekend.
